And a portion of that Spirit dwelleth in me, which giveth me knowledge, and also power according to my faith and desires which are in God. (Alma 18:35)This is such a short verse, but it gives us so much information about how to increase knowledge and power in our lives. It teaches us that both knowledge and power come from the Spirit of God when it is in us. It also says it comes “according to” our faith and desires in God. That seems like scripture code for “in proportion to”, meaning that the greater our faith and godly desires, the greater the knowledge and power the Spirit gives us.
