My blogging year in review: top posts from 2011

As the year draws to a close, it occurred to me that it might be helpful for me (and interesting to you as readers) to review some of the highlights of the year on my blog. With the help of Google’s handy analytics tool, it was a simple matter to find out which of my posts from 2011 got the highest number of pageviews. (The widget on my sidebar only compiles them on a rolling monthly basis, not a yearly basis.)

Reader’s top 10 favorite posts from 2011 (in order from highest number of pageviews to lowest)

  1. Why did God choose the rainbow as a token of His covenant with Noah?
  2. In the beginning there was taxonomy...

Hi, Michaela. I can't remember if I've commented here previously, but I read your posts - and I realized I ought to let you know who much I enjoy them.

Michaela
I just want to say I am happy to have found your blog. I was "blog surfing" one day and I stopped at your blog. I can't remember the post, but your "voice" struck me as one of authority. I enjoy all of the work that you put into your posts and they are not in vain.
I have gained from your personal insight into the Book of Mormon. It has helped me to better understand quite a few things.
I love reading your comments, very sharp, line by line types of responses. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Don't change a thing.LOL:)

Thanks for your kind words, all, and thank you to all of you who comment and share your experiences and insights. You are part of what keeps me going on this blog.

Also, RGG, all I do is share what I learn. I have no special calling to do this, no special authority in the church for it. I'm in the peculiar position in that the world is my audience, but I have authority over no one.
